Raipur, Nov 9 (IANS) Four medical store employees were arrested Tuesday for their suspected role in a powerful blast at a medical waste dumping site in Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur Oct 31, a police officer said.
“The were arrested for their role in a blast at Rajbandha area in Raipur,” Dipanshu Kabra, superintendent of police, Raipur, told reporters.
He added that police were interrogating them but it seemed that the blast was not targeted to kill anyone. No one was injured or killed in the blast.
The blast took place in an area that houses state’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s state headquarters.
