Four held for cheating job hunters
October 20th, 2011 - 10:30 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Oct 20 (IANS) Four youths, including a management student, were arrested from Greater Noida for cheating several engineers by giving them fake job appointment letters, police said here Thursday.
Post-graduation student Sudhir, MBA student Abhay Kumar, Madhuresh, who runs a consultancy agency in Noida, and sales agent Devender were arrested in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi’s Additional Commissioner of Police Ajay Chaudhry said.
They were held following a complaint by a mobile and internet service provider company that a few people were cheating job aspirants by providing fake appointment letters of their company.
Apparently, each victim paid Rs.35,000 for a job.
