Four drown in Madhya Pradesh boat capsize (Lead, Superseding earlier story)
June 10th, 2010 - 12:26 am ICT by IANSBhopal, June 9 (IANS) Four people drowned when a boat in which they were in capsized in the Narmada river in Madhya Pradesh’s Sehore district Wednesday, police said.
“The boat had 12 people. Four people are dead, six have been rescued and two are missing,” said Deepak Kapoor, in-charge of Shahganj police station.
All the victims belonged to Dehri village in the district.
Divers have been pressed into service to search for the bodies of the remaining victims, the official said.
