Four drown as boat sinks in Kerala
September 30th, 2009 - 8:01 pm ICT by IANSThekkady (Kerala), Sep 30 (IANS) Two children and two women were drowned when a boat carrying 75 tourists sank in the catchment area of the Mullaperiyar river in Kerala Wednesday evening, police said.
Idukki Superintendent of Police Kuttapan said the bodies of two children and two women had been recovered.
“I am rushing to the site. A large number of police officials from Idukki district are reaching the accident site,” said Kuttapan.
