Four bodies found, murder suspected
January 5th, 2011 - 9:54 pm ICT by IANSLucknow, Jan 5 (IANS) Four charred bodies were recovered from a car in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr Wednesday, police said, adding it appeared the victims were murdered.The bodies, which are yet to be identified, were in a burnt Indica car that was abandoned near a canal.
“All four bodies are badly charred… They are beyond recognition,” police inspector Dharmesh Kumar said in Bulandshahr, some 400 km from Lucknow.
“Prima facie it appears the four were killed at some other place and their bodies were kept in the car that was set on fire,” he said.
The vehicle is registered in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh, police said.
