Nakhon Ratchasima, 10 December, 2007 (PRD), Former Olympics silver medallist from Switzerland Daniel Ramseier, who was supervising the Thai national dressage squad prior to his resignation last month, said the problems within the Thailand Equestrian Federation caused its national dressage team to only earn a bronze medal at the 24th SEA Games 2007 in Nakhon Ratchasima province.

According to Mr. Ramseier, the federation was unconcerned over the horses’ conditions. He said some of them were not fully fit, but the federation allowed them to compete in the tournament. Moreover, he said the athletes in the dressage squad were not in harmony.
