Bhubaneswar, Jan 12 (IANS) Two unidentified men shot dead the son of a former Orissa minister in the state’s Ganjam district, police said Monday.The motorcycle borne attackers shot 31-year-old Sudarsan Parida in Aska town, about 200 km from here, Sunday night. The victim was sitting on a roadside kerb with some of his friends, a police official said.
While Sudarsan, son of former minister Raghaba Parida, died on his way to hospital, four of his friends were undergoing treatment for injuries.
Personal rivalry may be the reason for the killing, the official added.
