Former ministers asked to vacate house
November 25th, 2011 - 10:39 pm ICT by IANSLucknow, Nov 25 (IANS) Six days after he dared to revolt against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati, former minister for family welfare and mines Babu Singh Kushwaha was Friday asked to vacate his bungalow here.
Kushwaha had stepped down as minister in April, ostensibly on “moral grounds”, after exposure of a multi-crore National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) scam that led to the murder of two chief medical officers.
But he continued to occupy his official residence .
An eviction notice was also served on former health minister Anant Kumar Misra, who had also resigned with Kushwaha.
