Former airhostess shot dead, retired general injured in Noida

Noida, April 9 (IANS) A former airhostess was killed and a retired army officer was injured in two separate cases of shooting in Noida on the outskirts of the Indian capital, the police said Wednesday. The two new incidents came barely a day after three cases of shooting shocked Delhi.

In Noida Wedebnsday, four unidentified men on two vehicles shot dead Sheeba Thomas, who had resigned from Virgin Airlines a fortnight ago. She was returning to her home in her Hyundai Accent car after attending a party when she was attacked at 11.20 p.m. Tuesday in an area under the Sector-20 police station of this township, near New Delhi.
