Foggy start, sunny day ahead in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 22 (IANS) Fog greeted Delhiites Tuesday morning but gave way to a warm and sunny morning as the minimum temperature settled three notches above average at 14.8 degrees Celsius. The met office forecast a clear day.

“The day will be warm and sunny. The maximum temperature will hover around 30 degrees,” an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 98 percent, the official said.

Monday’s maximum temperature was recorded at 27.8 degrees Celsius - one notch above average - while the minimum settled at 14.8 degrees, two notches above average.
