London, Feb 27 (IANS) Injured England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff is set to return home from the West Indies tour Friday.
Flintoff injured his hip in the third Test at Antigua and is not playing in the ongoing fourth Test in Barbados. His place in the team was taken by Essex’s Ravi Bopara.

However, the England all-rounder intends to rejoin the tour March 10, in time for the one-day series, the Guardian reported.

The Lancastrian will also miss the fifth and final Test, which starts in Trinidad March 6. England are then due to play a one-day warm-up match and one Twenty20 international, both in Trinidad, before the start of the one-day series in Guyana March 20.

Flintoff is due to play for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL), which begins April 10.
