However, the England all-rounder intends to rejoin the tour March 10, in time for the one-day series, the Guardian reported.
The Lancastrian will also miss the fifth and final Test, which starts in Trinidad March 6. England are then due to play a one-day warm-up match and one Twenty20 international, both in Trinidad, before the start of the one-day series in Guyana March 20.
Flintoff is due to play for the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL), which begins April 10.
