Flight carrying Kiran Bedi develops snag, diverted
November 13th, 2011 - 5:05 pm ICT by IANSNagpur/Mumbai, Nov 13 (IANS) A Mumbai-bound Jetlite flight carrying former top cop Kiran Bedi and 124 other passengers had to be diverted to Nagpur after it developed a technical snag Sunday, an official said here.
“There was a technical problem in the engine that needed to be checked. All passengers are safe,” an airline spokesperson told IANS.
“It was a precautionary diversion. The Ranchi-Mumbai flight landed at the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur,” the spokesperson added.
The passengers were taken to Mumbai by another flight.
