Flat of ex-poll official’s son burgled
January 15th, 2012 - 12:21 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Jan 14 (IANS) Burglars struck at the home of former election commissioner G.V.G. Krishnamurthy’s son here and decamped with jewellery worth Rs.15 lakh, police said Saturday.
Around five people broke into J. Venkateswhar Rao’s flat in Nagarjuna Apartments in east Delhi’s Mayur Vihar area Friday night, a police officer said.
Rao, an advocate, had gone to Goa for some work and no was in the house.
Police said they have obtained some CCTV footage and a case has been filed.
