Five villagers abducted by Maoists
January 23rd, 2011 - 10:02 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Jan 23 (IANS) Five villagers were abducted by Maoists from Jharkhand’s Chatra district Sunday, police said.”Maoist guerrillas abducted five people from Khirgadda village under Rajpur police station. The abduction seems to be due to a dispute over a piece of land,” a police source told IANS.
Police have launched operations to rescue the five villagers.
