Five teenagers drown in Gujarat
June 10th, 2010 - 11:33 pm ICT by IANSGandhinagar, June 10 (IANS) Five teenagers, who had gone for a picnic at a dam site in Gujarat’s Panchmahals district, are feared to have drowned, an official said Thursday.
According to preliminary reports, eight teenagers from a nearby town had gone to Wankleshwar dam for a picnic. They entered the waters for a swim and five of them are feared to have drowned.
An official source said fire brigade personnel were trying to locate the bodies.
