Five policemen die in Maoist attack
June 9th, 2011 - 12:39 pm ICT by IANSRaipur, June 9 (IANS) In yet another attack, Maoists gunned down five policemen of the Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) Thursday in Bastar region, a police officer said.
The Maoists opened indiscriminate gun fire on a contingent of the 16th battalion of CAF in a forested pocket in Narayanpur district, killing one head constable and four constables, Additional Director General of Police Ram Niwas told IANS.
