Five Maoists held in Jharkhand

- Ranchi, Nov 2 (IANS) Five suspected Maoist guerrillas were arrested from Gumla district of Jharkhand, police said Monday.
According to police, the five, belonging to the Left radical Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC), were arrested from Madariatoli village, 140 km from here, Sunday night.
The arrested men include self-styled zonal commander Vishwanath Ganju alias Bisleshanji.
Police recovered two rifles, two pistols, two mobile phones and a diary from them. The diary, according to police sources, has names and details of the group’s leaders.
