Five killed in Jammu and Kashmir road accident
November 12th, 2008 - 6:07 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Jammu, Nov 12 (IANS) At least five people were killed and 17 injured when the bus they were travelling in skidded off a mountainous road in Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday, the police said.The bus was coming from Thathri to Pul Doda in the mountainous Doda district when it met with the accident at Karara rolling down into a 300 feet deep gorge.
Accidents due to hilly tracks, poor road conditions and bad maintenance of vehicles are common in the region.
