Five killed in Bengal accident
June 15th, 2011 - 4:21 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, June 15 (IANS) Five people were killed when their vehicle collided with a truck in West Bengal’s East Midnapore district Wednesday, police said.
“Three people died on the spot and three injured were rushed to hospital. Later, two people succumbed to their injuries in the hospital while one person is undergoing treatment,” East Midnapore Police Superintendent Ashoke Prasad told IANS.
Both the drivers fled from the spot, but the vehicles have been seized, Prasad said.
