Five killed as college building collapses
July 25th, 2011 - 11:56 pm ICT by IANSPalwal (Haryana), July 25 (IANS) At least five people were killed and a few others were buried under the debris when a portion of a college building collapsed near this south Haryana town Monday evening, police said.
Those killed were labourers working at the under-construction building of the Shri Ram College of Engineering and Management near this town, 40 km from Faridabad, adjoining New Delhi. Three injured were rescued.
Rescue operations were on as of 10 p.m., Palwal police said.
