Five injured in Imphal grenade attack
November 6th, 2011 - 10:20 pm ICT by IANSImphal, Nov 6 (IANS) Five people were injured, one of them critically, when motorcycle-borne militants lobbed a grenade at a bus stand in this Manipur capital Sunday night, police said.
According to police, the five injured were road construction workers, who had gathered at the bus stop after completing their work when the attack took place at around 8 p.m.
They have been admitted to hospital.
Police are yet to identify the militants and no outfit has yet owned up to the attack.
