Five hurt as building collapses in Kolkata
February 3rd, 2011 - 1:35 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, Feb 3 (IANS) Five people were injured Thursday morning when a portion of an old multi-storey building collapsed in central Kolkata, police said.The building collapsed in Indian Exchange Place area. The injured were admitted to the hospital. Fire tenders were rushed to the spot and had started the rescue operations.
“Five people were injured when the old building collapsed at Indian Exchange Place. The injured have been taken to the hospital. Rescue operations are on,” a police officer said.
