Five highway robbers arrested in Jharkhand
October 31st, 2010 - 8:54 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, Oct 31 (IANS) Five highway robbers were arrested Sunday in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi, police said.
“These criminals were involved in highway robbery and other crimes like murder,” said Praveen Singh, Ranchi’s senior superintendent of police.
Police seized three country-made revolvers, one pistol and live cartridges from them. The gang was active on the Ranchi-Patna and the Ranchi-Jamsahedpur national highways.
