Five held in Kishtwar for Delhi blast email
September 9th, 2011 - 12:07 am ICT by IANSJammu, Sep 8 (IANS) Five people, including two persons who are suspected to have sent an email to media organisations in the name of the Harkat-ul Jehadi Islami (HuJI) terror group owning responsibility for Wednesday’s Delhi blast, were arrested from Kishtwar town of Jammu and Kashmir Thursday, police said.
The Jammu and Kashmir Police, working on the clues provided by the National Investigation Agency, raided Global Internet Cafe in Malik Market of Kishtwar town, about 230 km from here.
The tracking of records and the statements made by arrested cafe owners and brothers, Khalid Aziz and Khawaja Mehmood Aziz, and their employee, police prepared sketches of suspects and arrested the two other suspects, Ibrahim and Ashiq Hussain.
Police sources told IANS that the five were being questioned and their role was being ascertained in sending the email.
“We are trying to find it out, whether they sent the email on their own or at the behest of someone. The matter is under investigation,” a senior police officer told IANS, while not ruling out more arrests.
