Five get life term for murdering kidnapped man
August 10th, 2011 - 11:44 pm ICT by IANSEtawah (Uttar Pradesh), Aug 10 (IANS) A court here Wednesday awarded life imprisonment to five people, including a woman, for killing a youth in 1998, police said.
The special anti-dacoity court handed down the life imprisonment to the five for killing Aadesh Tiwari, a resident of Bhareth area in Etawah, some 200 km from state capital Lucknow.
Ram Asrey, along with four accomplices, abducted Tiwari and later hacked him to death after he failed to receive a ransom of Rs.5 lakh.
The other convicts are Ram Karan, Kusum, Shri Naraian and Vishambhar Singh.
