Five die in Himachal accident
August 1st, 2012 - 9:55 pm ICT by IANSShimla, Aug 1 (IANS) Five people were killed Wednesday when a multi-utility vehicle carrying them skidded off a road and rolled down a gorge in Himachal Pradesh, police said.
The accident took place in Sheelghat village near Kharapathar, some 85 km from here. Three people were injured and admitted to a nearby hospital, police officer Daya Ram told IANS over telephone.
Witnesses said the driver probably lost control while negotiating a turn.
