Firing at Ghaziabad mall
June 14th, 2011 - 11:56 pm ICT by IANSGhaziabad, June 14 (IANS) Two unidentified armed youths opened fire at a mall in the Kaushambi area of Ghaziabad Tuesday afternoon, police said. No one was injured.
According to police, the two youths came on a bike and fired a bullet at the entrance of Shopprix Mall in Kaushambi, around 2 p.m.
“The pillion rider fired at the entrance, due to which the glass barrier got smashed. The assailants fled after firing,” the Indirapuram Station House Officer, Rajesh Dwivedi, said.
“We are analysing the CCTV footage and trying to ascertain who could be behind the incident,” said Dwivedi.
