Fire in Kolkata building, one killed
March 30th, 2012 - 12:47 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, March 30 (IANS) One person was killed and three people were injured in a fire at a multi-storey residential building in Kolkata early Friday, police said.
The fire broke out in South Kolkata’s Golpark area. Police said the cause of the fire prima facie was an electrical short circuit in an AC inside a room where the victims were sleeping.
Fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the flames.
The injured have been admitted to hospital, police said.
