Fire breaks out in Noida factory

Noida, June 3 (IANS) A major fire broke out in an electric meter manufacturing factory at Noida Tuesday. The fire broke out at 7 a.m. in the factory situated in A-42 sector-58 of the township. The security guard of the factory - M/S Delhi Motels Private Ltd - called the fire brigade which managed to control the fire after five hours.

Fire officer A.B. Pandey said the fire started from the basement of the company and destroyed all the plastic goods there. ‘We had to engage 17 fire tenders to control the fire.”
