Fire breaks out in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk
November 28th, 2010 - 9:21 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 28 (IANS) A fire broke out in a warehouse in Delhi’s Chandni Chowk area Sunday evening. The fire department rushed 27 tenders to douse the blaze that broke out around 5 p.m., an official said.
“Although it is not a major fire, we’ve sent 27 fire tenders to the spot to contain the fire,” said a senior Delhi Fire Service officer.
The cause of the fire could not be immediately ascertained, he added.
The fire broke out in a warehouse near Town Hall and Ballimaran, the officer said.
