Fire breaks out in a Bhopal university

Bhopal, May 2 (IANS) A major fire broke out in the computer laboratory of the Makhanlal National University of Journalism here early Saturday, destroying around 80 computers, an official said.
“The blaze destroyed at least 80 computers and 10 air conditioners,” university registrar J.R. Janane told IANS.

A fire brigade official said five fire tenders took more than three hours to douse the fire. “The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.”

No casualties have been reported.
