Fire at Sanchar Bhawan, none injured
July 23rd, 2010 - 1:13 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 23 (IANS) A fire broke out Friday at the Sanchar Bhawan, which houses the Department of Telecommunications, on Ashoka Road here, Nobody was injured, the fire department said.
The blaze began on the 13th floor of the building around 4 a.m. Thirteen fire tenders battled the fire and brought it under control, a fire officer said.
“The fire gutted the furniture and computer on the floor. The cause of the fire is not known,” he said.
