Fidel, Bollinger join Sydney Thunders
July 13th, 2011 - 9:01 pm ICT by IANSSydney, July 13 (IANS) In their bid to strengthen their bowling attack, Sydney Thunders have recruited West Indies quickie Fidel Edwards and Australian Doug Bollinger for the Big Bash League.
The two pacers will be joined by Chris Gayle, David Warner and Usman Khawaja.
Edwards has picked 10 wickets at an average of 30.80 from the 12 Twenty20 internationals he played for the West Indies.
New South Welshman Bollinger impressed during the Indian Premier League season where he was the second leading wicket taker for winners Chennai Super Kings, picking 17 wickets at an average of 19.35.
