London, Sep 15 (IANS) Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson was involved in a clash with Kelly, his old foe Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish’s daughter, on ITV.
Ferguson was irritated with Kelly, 35, an anchor with ITV, when he was asked who would be in goal against Chelsea on Sunday.
“I don’t know why you ask these questions, you’re just looking for stupid little things,” Ferguson snapped back.
The interview started going wrong when Kelly asked if the terrific display of keeper Anders Lindegaard had put David De Gea’s place in jeopardy.
“David will play on Sunday. That was the understanding we had before the game and it doesn’t change. Anyway, it proves we have two terrific keepers,” Ferguson said.
