FBI, Delhi Police exchange views on terror
August 3rd, 2011 - 10:25 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Aug 3 (IANS) A team of Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officers met Delhi Police officials Wednesday and shared thoughts on tackling terror and crime, police said.
“FBI team from the US met Commissioner of Police B.K. Gupta and top officials at the police headquarters,” Delhi Police spokesperson Rajan Bhagat told IANS.
During the meeting, both the sides exchanged ideas and views on tackling terror and crime. “Both teams shared about modernisation of the force to help in tackling crime apart from terror activities,” said a senior police officer.
The FBI team Tuesday visited the National Security Guard office and held discussions there over tackling terror activities.
The 13-member team left for Mumbai in the evening where they will meet with Mumbai Police officials.
