A source told IANS that Farhan has been suffering from sinus since his childhood.

He had difficulty in breathing due to the change of weather in the city but doctors were being consulted, the source said.

While cast members Arjun Rampal, Luke Kenny and Purab Kohli were interacting with the media in the afternoon, Farhan rested in his room after arriving here Saturday morning from Mumbai.

“Farhan is unwell but he will still be performing,” the film’s director Abhishek Kapoor confirmed.

In “Rock On”, Farhan has sung six of the nine songs in the film.

The rock concert, being organised by Big 92.7 FM, is the cast’s third after they performed in Mumbai and Pune last month. They have been performing with music director trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

Set in Mumbai, “Rock On” has an urban feel and revolves around a group of four aspiring musicians who form a hippie rock band called “Magic”.

It is led by singer Aditya (Farhan) and also has temperamental guitarist Joe Mascarenhas (Rampal), talented keyboard player Rob (Kenny) and drummer Kedar Zaveri (Kohli).
