Fact file of car accidents involving the rich (With Drunk woman kills two in Mumbai road accident)

New Delhi, Jan 30 (IANS) Following are some of the fatal accidents involving cars driven by the rich:
January 1999: Businessman Sanjeev Nanda, under the influence of alcohol, ran his BMW car over six people, killing them.
October 2002: Film actor Salman Khan was arrested after his Land Cruiser allegedly ran over some people sleeping on a Mumbai pavement, killing one person and injuring four others.
November 2006: Alistair Pereira killed seven people and injured many when he ran over construction workers on Carter Road at Bandra.
September 2008: Utsav Bhasin, son of a Haryana industrialist, was held after he mowed down a motorcyclist with his BMW car in south Delhi.
