Explosion reported in Sri Lanka
October 6th, 2008 - 11:04 am ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Colombo, Oct 6 (Xinhua) An explosion has been reported in Sri Lanka’s north-central town of Anuradhapura, defence officials said Monday morning. According to the defence ministry, the explosion was a suicide attack by the Liberation Tigers of Talim Eelam (LTTE) rebels near the bus stand in Anuradhapura.
There was no immediate reports of casualties.
