Ex-IAF officer killed
January 15th, 2012 - 9:53 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Jan 15 (IANS) A 48-year-old former Indian Air Force (IAF) officer who was working with a private company was found stabbed to death here Sunday, police said.
Surender Kumar, a resident of Gurgaon, was found around 9.30 a.m. near a tunnel in Swaroop Nagar area of north Delhi.
He had received some stab injuries on his neck and chest.
Kumar is survived by his wife and two children.
“He left the Air Force a few years ago and was working with a company Foilex Private Ltd. as its general manager in Himachal Pradesh,” a police officer said.
He visited Ambala in Haryana on official work Saturday evening, but never returned home.
“Personal rivalry might be the cause of the murder,” the officer added.
