Lucknow, Nov 14 (IANS) Enraged at the relationship of his daughter with a youth, a man shot dead both of them as well as the youth’s brother in Uttar Pradesh’s Etah district, the police said Friday.”The triple murder took place at Pilaktara village in Etah, some 295 km from Lucknow,” police inspector N.K Chaudhary told IANS on phone.

According to reports, the girl had eloped with the youth of the same locality Thursday.

“After finding his daughter today (Friday) with the youth, the father shot dead the two and the brother of the youth,” Chaudhary added.

Efforts are on to trace the father, who is at large, he added.
