Engineering student commits suicide
March 9th, 2011 - 8:24 pm ICT by IANSRanchi, March 9 (IANS) A fourth-year engineering student committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his hostel room in Seraikela-Kharsawa district of Jharkhand Wednesday, police said.
Vinay Pant, a student of the National Institute of Technology, hailed from Uttarakhand and had recently got a job through campus selection in a private company.
The cause of the suicide was yet to be ascertained.
