Engine gets unhitched from train, passengers unhurt

Kolkata, Sep 12 (IANS) Passengers of an express train had a narrow escape when the engine got separated from the rest of the train near Tikiapara in Howrah Friday. Eastern Railway sources said the incident occurred on the 2340-DN Asansol-Howrah Coalfield Express when the coupling which joins the engine and the train got unhitched.

No one was injured as the train was moving at a slow pace, they said.

Another engine took the train to Howrah Station.
