Nov.28, (THAINDIAN NEWS) American golfer Tiger Woods is creating headlines as he was injured in a car accident on Friday outside his Florida mansion after his car went out of control. After preliminary investigation of the incident, police officials have supposedly claimed that following the accident his wife Elin Nordegren smashed the back of the car with the help of a golf club to get her husband out of the vehicle.

At the same time, various reports are circulating on the internet which gives a completely different angle to the entire incident. Certain reports claim that the accident took place after the Swedish model was involved in a heated argument with her golfer husband who later chased the car and smashed it. It is also being claimed that the couple were having a altercation over the alleged affair between Woods and Rachel Uchitel which ultimately resulted in the incident. However, none of the claims have been validated by Woods or by his wife and police officials continue to claim that Elin smashed the car in a bid to save her husband. Meanwhile, the much acclaimed golfer has been released from the hospital after receiving preliminary treatment.

At the same time, intrinsic details about the circumstances that led to the incident still remains unclear. Reportedly, some officials unofficially have also implied that the possibility that the incident might have resulted from domestic abuse cannot be completely ruled out. However, it has also been emphasized that Woods might be charged with a number of minor offences relating to the accident.
