Eleven suspected Maoists held in Orissa
October 15th, 2009 - 5:22 pm ICT by IANSBhubaneswar, Oct 15 (IANS) Eleven suspected Maoists have been arrested in Malkangiri district of Orissa, police said Thursday.
They were nabbed during a combing operation in the forests of Jakhalkundi village in the district.
“We have arrested 11 people during an early morning combing operation. They were arrested during a joint combing operation by CRPF (central reserve police force) and SOG (special operations group) near Jakhalkundi village,” Superintendent of Police Satyabrat Bhoi said.
