Eight students, driver killed in Haryana accident
January 2nd, 2012 - 2:41 pm ICT by IANSAmbala (Haryana), Jan 2 (IANS) At least eight students riding a school bus and their driver were killed when their vehicle collided with a truck ina dense fog in Haryana’s Ambala district Monday morning, police said.
At least 15-20 other students were injured and were rushed to the civil hospital in Ambala for immediate treatment.
Police said the accident took place on the Saha-Shahbad road, 25 km from Ambala city.
The bus, belonging to Arjun Public School, was bringing the students to the school when it collided with the truck.
