Eight killed in Haryana accident
August 26th, 2012 - 2:03 pm ICT by IANSSonipat (Haryana), Aug 26 (IANS) At least eight people were killed when their van collided with a stationary truck near Rai town in Haryana’s Sonipat district, police said.
The victims were returning to their village after a pilgrimage near Mathura in Uttar Pradesh.
Police said the accident took place as the van driver, who was among those killed, dozed off while driving. The others in the vehicle were also sleeping.
