“Acting on a tip off, we raided a hideout today (Friday) in the Haqiqatnagar locality, where the gang members had set up a manufacturing unit for spurious drugs,” police inspector R.P. Dubey told reporters in Saharanpur.
Saharanpur is 350 km from here.
“Those arrested have admitted that they used to supply fake medicines to dealers in Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana and other neighbouring states,” he added.
