Eight die in Kashmir road accidents
October 23rd, 2011 - 6:25 pm ICT by IANSJammu, Oct 23 (IANS) At least eight people were killed and 30 injured in two road accidents on the Jammu-Srinagar highway Sunday, police said.
In the first accident, seven people died and 29 were injured when the bus they were travelling in skidded off the road near Nadini, some 30 km north of here.
The dead included four children. The condition of five of the injured is critical.
In the second accident near Ramban town, some 160 km from here, a vehicle skidded off the highway, killing one passenger on the spot.
