Dubai ruler orders release of 334 prisoners
November 3rd, 2011 - 12:04 am ICT by IANSDubai, Nov 2 (IANS/WAM) Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the ruler of Dubai, has ordered the release of 334 inmates from penal and correctional institutions ahead of Eid Al Adha.
Dubai Attorney General Essam Eisa Al Humaidan congratulated the pardoned prisoners, and thanked Sheikh Mohammed for his humanitarian gesture and keenness to bring the families together during festive occasions.
