DTC bus crushes soldier in Delhi
May 7th, 2012 - 6:33 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, May 7 (IANS) A Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus Monday mowed down a 45-year-old soldier in Welcome area of east Delhi, police said.
The victim, Mukesh Kumar, a driver in the army, was on his way to work on his motorcycle when he was hit at Maujpur Chowk.
Kumar died instantly, a police official told IANS. The deceased was a resident of Ashok Nagar.
The bus was carrying school children at the time of accident. Its driver, Rampal, has been arrested.
